Museum of the Gulf Coast Halls of Fame

The Museum of the Gulf Coast hosts three Popular Culture galleries featuring notable personalities of the Gulf Coast.

The Music Hall of Fame highlights more than 80 music legends representing a wide variety of genres

The Sports Legends Gallery highlights more than 78 athletes representing several disciplines

The Notable People Gallery highlights 40 individuals who have achieved national and/or international recognition in various professional                endeavors such as entertainment, politics, science and education.

The Port Arthur Historical Society Board of Directors governs the induction of notable personalities. We receive many recommendations              yearly, but have limited space for new inductees. Not all those who meet the criteria will be inducted.
