Jonathan Babineaux was born October 12, 1981 in Port Arthur, Texas and attended Lincoln High School where he was First-Team All-Conference linebacker and team captain his senior year. After high school, he attended The University of Iowa where he started 31 out of 42 games and earned All-American and first-team All-Big 10 honors. Babineaux was also named the Hawkeye’s Most Valuable Player on defense as a senior and was the recipient of the Big 10 Conference Sportsmanship Award. After college, Babineaux was selected by the Atlanta Falcons and has continued to play both defensive end and defensive tackle for the Falcons.
