Born: July 9, 1929 - Mannford, Oklahoma
Died: August 4, 2007 - Henderson, Nevada

Songwriter, singer, and music producer. Moved to Port Neches, Texas at an early age. Graduated from Port Neches High School and attended southern Methodist University until army draft took him to Korea. After army service became deejay in Jucson, Arizona. Began song writing, recording, and producing other artists hits, moving from Tucson to Phoenix to Philadelphia to Los Angeles. Had hits with artists such as Duane Eddy and teen idols Dino, Desi, and Billy. Wrote and produced "These Boots Are Made For Walkin" and sang duets with Nancy Sinatra.
