Saxophonist and band leader. Appeared on teenage dance program on KPAC TV in Port Arthur. Performed with band known as Big Sambo and The Housewreckers. Recorded " The Rains Came " (1960), with sales over one-half million until the NAACP objected to the name of the group as being derogatory. Performed in California and appeared in a movie with Vincent Prince.
