What is Arts Express?

Arts Express is an exciting once a week after school art program for children in grades 2-5 offered each fall and spring for 8 weeks. Children learn about the arts through exhibit tours, hands-on activities and art projects. Arts Express is FREE for Port Arthur Historical Society members and Port Arthur ISD students. All others must pay $50 which includes a membership to the Port Arthur Historical Society.


Arts Express after school sessions will begin again in September 2011.

What are the requirements?

Each student must submit a signed registration form from his/her parent granting permission to attend the Arts Express program. These will be made available online and at each PAISD elementary school at the beginning of the 2011-2012 school year. Each session will have a maximum of 25 spaces available, so admission will be on a first come, first serve basis.

It is the responsibility of the parents to arrange for transportation of the student to and from the Museum.
