Youth Programs
In 2002, the Museum of the Gulf Coast launched Community Partnership, an education initiative designed to serve the southeast Texas community. The initiative consists of various programs focused on educating local youth about the many natural and cultural legacies of the Gulf Coast region. Made possible in part by grants from Texas Parks & Wildlife and the Southeast Texas Arts Council, these free programs serve young people of all ages and economic backgrounds.

Most importantly, Community Partnership provides unique opportunities for children to learn about the history, music, culture, art and environment of southeast Texas. For more information about the Museum's many educational programs for youth and adults please contact our Education Coordinator at 409-984-6453.
