The Education Department has prepared the Teacher Resource Guide to help students and teachers gain the most from their museum experience. It is our hope that the information contained in the packet will provide the foundation necessary to make your trip to the Museum of the Gulf Coast unforgettable.

TEKS Guidelines
The standard school tour touches upon several major sections of the Museum, and is formatted to address the Social Studies and Arts TEKS for elementary school students (several TEKS are addressed at multiple sections of the tour).
