The Port Arthur Historical Society administers both the
Museum of the Gulf Coast: a stunning 39,000 regional museum dedicated to preserving and interpreting the heritage of the Gulf Coast region and the
Pompeiian Villa (located at 1953 Lakeshore Drive): a truly unique historic home built in 1900 when Arthur Stilwell's "Dream City" was becoming a reality. Membership in the Port Arthur Historical Society is vital to the future of these two facilities.
PAHS members are a wide mix of local residents and supporters from across the country. They enjoy a variety of benefits as well as different levels of membership listed below:
Student, $10 a year – Free admission to Museum & Villa; invitation to exhibits, receptions; quarterly newsletter; discounts on fee related events such as trips, workshops
Single, $25 a year – Free admission to Museum & Villa; invitation to exhibits, receptions; quarterly newsletter; discounts on fee related events such as trips, workshops
Couple, $40 a year – Free admission for two to Museum & Villa; invitation to exhibits, receptions; quarterly newsletter; discounts on fee related events such as trips, workshops
Family, $50 a year – Free admission for couple and children to Museum & Villa; invitation to exhibits, receptions; quarterly newsletter; discounts on fee related events such as trips, workshops; Free registration for youth programs including summer camps
Non-profit Organization, $50 a year – Free group tours and use of facility for meetings and receptions*; invitation to exhibits, receptions; quarterly newsletter; discounts on fee related events such as trips, workshops
Sustaining, $75 a year – Free admission for family plus 2 guests; invitation to exhibits, receptions; quarterly newsletter; discounts on fee related events such as trips, workshops; Free registration for youth programs
Corporate, $100 a year – Free group tours and 50% discount on use of facility for corporate meetings and receptions*; invitation to exhibits, receptions and lectures; quarterly newsletter; discounts on fee related events such as trips; workshops
Patron, $100 a year – Free admission for family plus 4 guests when accompanied by member; invitation to exhibits, receptions; quarterly newsletter; discounts on fee related events such as trips; workshops; Free registration for youth programs
Benefactor, $500 a year – Free admission for family plus 6 guests when accompanied by member; invitation to exhibits, receptions; quarterly newsletter; discounts on fee related events such as trips, workshops; Free registration for youth programs
Life, $1,000 – Relief from annual dues and free admission for family plus 8 guests when accompanied by member; invitation to exhibits, receptions; quarterly newsletter; discounts on fee related events such as trips, workshops; Free registration for youth programs; 50% discount on use of facility for private events*
